This class is designed to train experienced students who wish to pursue their professional dance career and for professional dancers.
A broad term for American social and stage dance employing jazz or jazz – influenced music, it emphasizes bodyline and flexible torso; fast, accurate footwork and isolations. Taught by professionals, this course is based on the syllabus of The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (C.S.T.D.), Australia. The syllabus offers the minimum of 6 years training from Primary to Grade 6 (professional level). The school also encourages students to take annual examination. However this course is suitable also for students who are interested in just having fun and getting fit.
Contemporary modern dance originated as an innovation of Classical Ballet. Although there are many similarities between both forms of dance, Contemporary modern dance is more liberal in its exploration of form, technique, and musical style. The technique explores into the more organic way of movement, the understanding of the human body and the relationship between the body, mind and soul and the whole environment, finding connection between the body and the dance to create a harmonious way of dancing. It also expands into the way of how one perceive the aesthetic vision and the creativity of the dance to create freedom of dancing as oppose to the balletic form of movement.
Ballroom dance will guide you through getting to know your body to improve your physical structure. The training gives enjoyment through the various music and rhythm thus enables you to improve you physical health.
